Hyundai Bayon 2021 Facelift: New Design and Features Revealed

The Bayon was launched in 2021 as a compact crossover designed specifically for the European market. In the middle of the model’s life cycle, a facelift is in order, but it focuses mainly on subtle visual changes.

The LED front light bar with daytime running lights has been incorporated into the bow similar to the Kona model. The front bumper was also changed along with the radiator grille.

The rear bumper was also newly designed. 16- and 17-inch wheels with a new design were added to the offer.

Customers have a choice of nine body colors, four of which are new: pearlescent Lumen Gray, Meta Blue and Vibrant Blue, or metallic Lucid Lime. In combination with several body colors, a two-tone paint job with a Phantom Black roof is also available as an option.

Inside, light bulbs can now be optionally replaced with LED technology, which improves interior lighting, in LED ceiling lights, LED spot lights and LED lights in the sun visors. Another optional feature of the equipment is multi-colored ambient interior lighting in the front.

A 4.2-inch display on the instrument cluster and 10.25-inch displays for audio-visual and navigation functions are now standard. The updated Bayon continues to offer features and functions of the previous version, such as the optional 10.25″ configurable digital instrument panel display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems, wireless charger and the latest version of the Bluelink telematics system.

Hyundai has not yet mentioned prices or changes in technology. Bayon will probably continue to offer a naturally aspirated 1200 or a liter turbocharged three-cylinder including a mild hybrid variant.
