We appeal to be allowed to send humanitarian aid with food and medical supplies. We hope that the hostilities will cease immediately and that logic and diplomacy will prevail. The solution is neither terrorism nor war.”
The above was stated by the general secretary of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy (DSO), member of parliament Dr. Maximos Charakopoulos, after his meeting with the ambassador of Palestine in Greece, Yussef Dorkhom, which took place at the ILO headquarters.
70% of the victims in Gaza women and children
The Palestinian ambassador presented the current situation in the Middle East region and the dimension of the humanitarian crisis that the war in Gaza has taken on, with thousands of victims, of which 70% are women and children of the civilian population.
