HyperX becomes official gaming headset partner for Dallas Mavericks and future Dallas NBA 2K League team
HyperX, the high-performance gaming product line from Kingston Technology Company, Inc., today announced the first sponsorship of the NBA 2K team, making it the official gaming headset partner for the upcoming Dallas team. NBA 2K League and the Dallas Mavericks.
Hyper X will be in the arena during NBA home games for the Dallas Mavericks, including digital signage, raffles and fan events. The Dallas E-Sports Team is the first professional NBA 2K League team to work with HyperX. The roster will be announced this winter along with the other NBA 2K teams. The first NBA 2K season begins in the spring of 2018. Hyper X is given a leading role in the games industry and, together with the Mavericks, is developing campaigns for traditional sports such as esports games at the ‘American Airlines Center.

Hyper X will interact with the Dallas 2K League team in a number of ways, including branding on NBA 2K team jerseys, social media promotions, testimonials, and appearances at events, conventions, product and video releases. HyperX and the team will also use it to share social media activities, such as live streaming, product raffles, and other promotions. The team now uses HyperX gaming headsets every day, including the new Cloud Alpha headset, to train for big competitions or to relax with their favorite music and movies.
The first HyperX fan event is scheduled for December 2 during the Star Wars Day game between the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Clippers and will take place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX. NBA fans have the option of testing HyperX gear and playing NBA 2K18 or Battlefront II with HyperX gaming headsets. As part of this launch event with the Mavericks, Hyper X is also planning to extend the discount on the award-winning Cloud Stinger gaming headset. All details will be announced on site.
