Koenigsegg Jesko is not a big news, because it was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2019, more than two years ago. But it was a prototype. We now have a pre-production car in front of us, which precedes 125 pieces for customers. There will be no more.

Although this car is not intended for customers, it is manufactured according to production specifications. And its color is not accidental either. Orange with silver details and a bit of exposed carbon is a tribute to the CCR model, which was introduced in 2004.

However, customers will still wait for their cars. Although this “zero” piece is already in the world, clients will not receive their first cars until the spring of 2022. Of the 125 pieces, part of the “regular” versions with an emphasis on the best possible handling and part of the Absolut versions, which should handle a maximum of over 500 km / h. But for now, we have to wait for an independent verification of such speed.

Jesko is the successor of Agera and most likely the last koenigsegg with a purely combustion propulsion system. This is a five-liter eight-cylinder with two turbochargers, which when operating on E85 fuel gives 1600 hp and 1500 Nm. It can also run on regular 95-octane petrol, but in this case the control electronics will limit the power to “only” 1280 horsepower.

More interesting is the transmission, called Light Speed Transmission (LST). It is nine-speed and has seven wet multi-plate clutches, which, according to the manufacturer, is really lightning fast – it should only take 20 milliseconds.

The details of Koenigsegg Jesko are breathtaking.

All 125 pieces were sold out at the Geneva Motor Show in 2019, where the car was introduced. Customers paid at least 68.5 million crowns for the car.
