An early Xbox fan here, and I can tell from my own experience, but also from friends with an Xbox, that the current Xbox controller also works very well (so it comes with Series X/S and previous generation ( series One )).
But that 360 controller also comes pretty close.
It still remains a matter of taste and sensation in the hands, but the Xbox controller is certainly nice for me and my friends!
Fun fact: Research among Playstation fans also shows that they find the Xbox controller very comfortable in their hands and works well.
