Nissan has shown the Hyper Force concept at the ongoing Japan Mobility Show, which is presented as a potential successor to the GT-R sports coupe.
The Nissan GT-R is one of the Japanese car company’s best-known models when it comes to power, high performance and dynamics. It entered Nissan’s offer in 2009, but with current trends, it is clear that the GT-R’s future life as an internal combustion model no longer has prospects.
Nissan understands this too, and while the Hyper Force isn’t outright being called the successor to the GT-R, it would be hard not to see the similarities between the two cars.
The Hyper Force concept is known to be a two-seater coupe with upward-opening doors, a 1,000-kilowatt electric powertrain (1,360 hp), e-4ORCE all-wheel drive and a solid-state battery. The manufacturer does not reveal the dynamics indicators, but the cockpit with a racing simulator-like arrangement shows an instrument panel with a speedometer graduation up to 320 km/h.
Nissan does not reveal when such a car could appear on the streets, but history holds the fact that it took six years from the first GT-R concept to a production car.
