Market entry of the innovative concept in Austria – support from OTTO Immobilien
Vienna (OTS) – Good news for local sneaker fans: HypeNeedz.com, a young, innovative sales platform for limited and rare pieces from the areas of streetwear, sneakers and accessories is coming to Vienna. The company from Germany, which already operates a store in Munich, celebrated its store opening in the city of Vienna on February 27, 2021 and thus its market entry in Austria. “We are pleased that we were allowed to accompany HypeNeedz in entering the market and that we have found the perfect location for the concept in a historic fashion street that is now a breath of fresh air,” said Mag. Ditha Kristin Ritschka, Retail consultant at OTTO Immobilien.
The new 178 square meter shop is located at Rauhensteingasse 10, in the heart of Vienna City. In the future, fashion fans will find rarities from Supreme, Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Travis Scott, Bape, Nike + Off, Air Jordan, Adidas and Yeezys in stylish surroundings. They do not come directly from the manufacturers, but from collector customers who want to resell their special pieces and thus often achieve high prices.
The business idea arose from a hobby: Founder Fabian Arnold began collecting and selling rare sneakers as a teenager. At 18, he and two friends founded Hypeneedz. Initially, the shoes were only sold online and via Insta, then in small pop-up stores in Munich and finally in their own shop. Now the sneaker fans have landed in Vienna!
