MUNICH Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH has expanded its involvement in Fürstenfeldbruck with a 13,500 m² state-of-the-art production facility. The new additional location will be gradually put into operation from the second quarter of 2023 and will supplement the existing headquarters in Puchheim. With this expansion – a sevenfold increase in production area over the current company buildings – the company’s production and testing capabilities will be significantly increased.
Bavarian Economics Minister Hubert Aiwanger is pleased with the expansion: “The use of hydrogen in mobility is our future. With its expansion investment, Proton Motor confirms the increased demand for hydrogen engines and thus strengthens the exceptional importance of the Free State in the research and development of new zero-emission propulsion technologies”.
The Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and the liquidation agency “Invest in Bavaria” actively support Proton Motor in the implementation of its expansion plans in Fürstenfeldbruck. This investment will also create numerous new jobs.
