Hydrocarbons file: TotalEnergies wanted to “avoid a long litigation procedure” – Le Desk

Released this Monday, a press release from TotalEnergies Marketing Maroc, local subsidiary of the French giant TotalEnergies, discusses the recent sanction of the Competition Council in the file of the cartel of players in the hydrocarbon sector.

In its communication, TotalEnergies Marketing Morocco, listed on the Casablanca stock exchange, indicates having benefited from the agreement concluded with the institution headed by Ahmed Rahhou “to avoid a long litigation procedure”.

“Due to ongoing discussions on the practical arrangements for implementing the financial aspect of this agreement, the impact on the 2023 results is not yet precisely known at this stage. The company will communicate again in due course”we know.

TotalEnergies Marketing Maroc concludes in “reaffirming its commitment to the rules of competition law, in accordance with its code of conduct”.
