Hyderabad woman accepts food delivery job to support family and daily bet education

The repercussions of the pandemic have affected everyone, some more and others less. For the less fortunate, it was a period of great distress, often having to get by without work and without the means to meet their needs, especially families of daily workers. Many have been out of work for a year or more and this has suffered from the lack of work, especially day laborers. But in the midst of it all, there have also been countless examples of bravery and determination that have established themselves as champions in this battle against the pandemic. A fine example of the same is a young woman from Hyderabad, Mamidipelly Rachana, the daughter of a daily worker from Warangal of Telangana.

Rachana, who had originally come to Hyderabad to pursue her studies in hotel management, has always been a diligent student and has always worked hard to pay for her education. Speaking to ANI news agency, she said: “I studied for free up to grade 12 at a public school. I had a very strong desire to continue my studies and thanks to the advice of my teachers, I was able to be admitted to a hotel management course in Hyderabad ”,

She sold milk door-to-door to pay for her living and studying in the city. She earned 9,000 rupees, of which she gave 3,000 rupees as rent for her room and the rest would be sent to her family.

Rachana decided to take on this job when she was affected by the pandemic and decided to support herself, her education and her family. She read the online job posting, applied and got the job.

“I have been working here for a month and my salary is enough to support everyone’s needs. After completing my HM training, I will have a job in hand, ”she said.
