Hybrid science. Deadlines
Since Monday, April 26, some children have returned to school. Initially, there were classes 1-3 and only in the form of hybrid education.
I signed the ordinance that, effective Monday of next week, allows children in grades 1-3 in 11 counties to attend education full time.
After that, he reported to the head of the Ministry of Education and Science, Przemislav Kosarnik.
A lot has changed since then. On May 4, students in grades 1-3, who had studied crosses, returned to school. Children are in direct contact with teachers and peers. However, the older students still had to wait for the privilege.
As of May 17 only, elementary school grades 4-8 and all high school grades have returned to school. Oh, the learning happens in mixed mode. This means that not everyone has returned to school. Some children still stay home and learn at a distance. Blended learning will continue until May 31st. In June, all students must go to school.

In the fall of 2020, the Ministry of National Education published a Manual for School Directors, which provides information on how to organize lessons in hybrid mode.

The following are the most important principles of hybrid mode education:
- The classroom teacher keeps in contact with students and parents, continuously monitors student compliance with the school’s commitment, and verifies their presence during online classes. In case of absence, determine the cause of this event.
- The educator, in cooperation with other teachers, determines the level of participation and activity of the students during the lessons and helps to solve current problems.
- The teacher, with the support of specialists, implemented a preventive educational program – modifying the subject of the classes with the teacher due to emerging problems related to distance education and the epidemic.
- Stimulate students’ social contact by allowing them to communicate via the Internet at a specific time, for example, after required classes (without teacher involvement), after entering the agreed communication rules with students and parents, which they will guarantee safety.
- Provide online counseling opportunities for parents of students (as needed).
- All teachers, including teachers who are involved in organizing special education, must establish a clear method for answering questions posed by students and parents through the school messenger. Ideally, these should be standard rules for the entire school.
