A recall is underway for two types of Hy-Vee cream cheese and its Cookies & Cream snack mix after concerns of potential salmonella contamination. The recall was initiated by Hy-Vee, following notification from their third-party manufacturers about the possible contamination. Cream Cheese Spreads

Hy-Vee is recalling two cream cheese spreads:

  • Eight-ounce Hy-Vee whipped cream cheese spread with Aug. 7 and Aug. 14 use-by dates.
  • Twelve-ounce Hy-Vee cream cheese spread with a Sept. 1 use-by date.

Customers who have purchased these products are advised to discard them or return them to the store for a refund. It is important to note that no illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported in connection with these products thus far.

Snack Mix

The recall also includes the following snack mix:

  • Four-ounce packages of Hy-Vee to-go Cookies & Cream mix and 16-ounce packages of Hy-Vee Cookies & Cream Mix with certain use-by dates.

Customers who have purchased the recalled snack mix should dispose of it to prevent potential health risks.

Salmonella Concerns
