After Modo tonight won 3-2 away against Kristianstad, the semifinal teams are ready.
HV71, Modo, BIK Karlskoga and Björklöven. By the way, there are teams one to four in the basic series table, all of which have reached the semi-finals.
IC More’s studio after the match, HV71 had to choose their semi-final opponent. They had BIK Karlskoga and Björklöven to choose from because they were the two poorly ranked teams from the regular season.
HV71 chose to meet BIK Karlskoga and that in turn means that Björklöven meets Modo.
– We thought we would get a semifinal in the north and a semifinal in the south, says Tommy Samuelsson about HV71’s choice.
The semifinals start with HV71 – BIK Karlskoga, Friday 8 April. Modo – Björklöven starts the next day, April 9.
