With a bad performance, TV Hüttenberg did not get more than 21 goals in the second division game at HSV Hamburg. Meanwhile, it rattles 30 times in its own box.
(jsa). HSV Handball didn’t give TV 05/07 Hüttenberg a chance on Friday evening in the 2nd Bundesliga. At 9:30 p.m. (10:14 a.m.), the Central Hessians lost out to the North Germans. The causes were varied.
Troubled personnel, thin squad, lack of experience and too flawed – all aspects that make the situation for the young Hüttenberger team increasingly precarious in the relegation battle. Aspects that also led to the defeat against HSV yesterday evening. If you take Bietigheim out (only played three games), the TVH is next to last in the table with most games in the league. Only Fürstenfeldbruck with one game less is one point behind Central Hesse.
Without the injured Merlin foot, Hüttenberg started with Niklas Theiss on half right, who was preferred to Dieudonne Mubenzem. It was Theiss who responded to the first day’s goal from Hamburg’s Tobias Schimmelbauer with his goal to make it 1-1. Then came the phase in which the guests appropriated the mortgage that they could no longer get rid of. TVH coach Frederick Griesbach had warned in advance of his own mistakes in the attack and the fast paced game of the opponent. That was exactly what was fatal for his team.
At 6: 1 (9th), Hamburg escaped their opponent and mercilessly punished his technical error. “We move badly off the ball, we are not attentive until the whistle, so that Hamburg could play the ball again until the chance came,” said a frustrated Griesbach at the beginning. If something went well in the attack, it was via the Theiss / Reichl axis, which Vit Reichl completed twice in a row. If the guests had their mistakes in attack under control and forced the home side to attack for position, it looked much more controlled. So they came up with three hits in a row to 8:10 and re-established the connection. Due to a lack of luck in the end, it went into the dressing room 10:14 behind.
Had the subsequent course been predictable, the Hüttenbergers would probably have preferred to stay in the cabin. At 19:12, HSV hurried away in the 38th minute and won the game early on.
The lack of Fuß, Schreiber, Kneer, Zörb and Christian Rompf on Hüttenberger’s side, who was also missing after the collision, became increasingly noticeable. Even the recently strong Dominik Plaue did not find his way into his old home. In general, defensive moments were completely missing that would have given the young team a boost. Therefore, the gap continued for the rest of the season, even though both teams knew that nothing would burn in the Hamburg sports hall.
Griesbach takes the team under protection
After the defeat, Frederick Griesbach stood in front of his team despite all the criticism: “We must still not forget where we come from and who we are. We are missing important supports, there are highly talented but also very young players who have to learn and make mistakes. We have chosen this path and will continue on it. Nevertheless, we also know that we need points. ” The eyes are therefore on the home meeting next Saturday against the EHV Aue, against which the TVH finally wants to get something countable again.
