A young mother with the initials RT (24) in South Minahasa (Minsel), North Sulawesi (Sulut) was tragically killed by her own husband, RL (26). The perpetrator killed the sleeping person.
This evil act happened at the house of the man and his wife in Temboan Village, Maesaan District, Minahasa South on Friday (3/5), around 04.30 WITA. That terrible night began when the man who committed the crime heard that his wife was stupid.
“The suspect overheard his stupid wife saying ‘i don’t come out pi work in Bolsel’ (don’t go to work in Bolsel),” said South Minahasa Police Chief AKBP Feri R. Sitorus, Sunday (5/5/2024).

The person who committed the crime, who heard his wife’s words, became emotional because he suspected that his wife was cheating on him. He ran to get a knife in the kitchen.
“The suspect immediately became emotional and immediately went for a knife in the kitchen. The suspect returned to the room and immediately stabbed his wife in the left eye,” Feri said.
The brutally stabbed victim finally woke up. He, who did not have time to think long, suddenly tried to leave the house.
“Before his wife had time to leave the house, the suspect immediately hit her with a machete on the back of her head again,” explained Feri.
After killing his wife, the perpetrator immediately ran to the house of his father-in-law, JT (48), which was about 300 meters from his house. The perpetrator brutally attacked JI using a machete.
“The suspect immediately entered the room to find his mother and father-in-law asleep. The suspect immediately machete him until his father-in-law woke up and his mother-in-law woke up,” he said.
The victim JT himself fought back and managed to grab RL’s machete. However, RL continued his actions by abusing his daughter-in-law using his bare hands.
“After the father-in-law was able to pry the machete from the suspect’s hand, the suspect immediately attacked the mother-in-law using his fists,” Feri said .
The police who were aware of the incident immediately arrested the perpetrator RL that same day. To the police, the perpetrator admitted that he suspected that his wife was cheating on him.
“Under questioning, the suspect RL revealed that this abuse was committed because he was jealous, and he suspected that his wife was having an affair with another man,” Feri said.
