Lidl currently has a sale on selected smart accessories in the e-shop. You can buy a Silvercrest socket with a 22% discount for 269 CZKan extension cord with three sockets and four USBs with a 50% discount for 449 CZK. Both offer Zigbee technology for remote control via a central unit and connection to a smart home.
Zigbee gateway is also available at Lidl, costs CZK 649 (not in action), but thanks to the open protocol, others can also be used. For example, Ikea sells cheap ones, Philips Hue is also popular, and do-it-yourselfers often reach for a Sonoff USB dongle.
Both accessories are only used for switching on/off, they do not measure consumption (even though Silvercrest has such products). They have plugs with a pin used in the Czech Republic and support a maximum load of 3840 W. Only electrical plugs can be individually controlled with the extension cord, the four USBs are always under voltage. 12 W (5 V, 2.4 A) goes through USB.
