UEFA announced the penalty it gave due to the events in the Sivasspor-Fiorentina match in the Conference League.

Sivasspor will play the next European match without spectators.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Towards the last minutes of the match played in Sivas, two fans of Sivasspor entered the field. A fan attacked Alessandro Bianco. Due to the intense blood flowing from Bianco’s nose, medical teams intervened.

CALIMBAY HAS APPROVED

Sivasspor Coach Rıza ÇALIMBAY, at the press conference after the match, said, “We apologize very much. I apologize to all Italians. It was something that should not have happened. It even got ahead of the match. I apologize again and again. I hope that such an event will not happen again.”

FENERBAHÇE AND TRABZONSPOR ARE ALSO PENALTY

UEFA also fined Fenerbahçe 44 thousand euros and at least 5,000 seats in the next UEFA competition. Trabzonspor was fined 20 thousand euros.
