Hurricanes’ fuse Uri Hughes; Second consecutive win for Sydney Sixers

2023 Big Bush League 2023 Sydney Sixers 2nd win in a row. Sixers secured victory against Hobart Hurricanes by six wickets. After winning the toss, Hurricanes scored 135 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted overs, while Sixes responded by scoring 139 runs for the loss of four wickets in 19.2 overs.

Sydney Sixers openers Caleb Juwan scored 16 runs off 13 balls while James Vince scored 5 runs off eight balls to give the chase a poor start. But Daniel Hughes, who came in after that, scored an unbeaten 60 runs in 50 balls including a six and four boundaries and led the team to victory. Moises Hendricks scored 20 runs off 24 balls and Jordan Silk scored 23 runs off 19 balls to provide excellent support to Hughes as the team secured an easy win.

Corey Anderson scored 17 runs from 27 balls, Chris Jordan scored 16 runs from 21 balls and Patrick Dooley scored 19 runs from 18 balls but the result was defeat.
