Due to the storm’s low, parks and zoos were closed on Monday. The Schönbrunn zoo closed its doors at around 11 a.m., the federal gardens closed the Augarten, Belvedere garden, castle and Volksgarten and the Schönbrunn palace gardens. The cemeteries are open, but a spokesman for Bestattung Wien advised them to visit them only when absolutely necessary.
However, the current weather conditions ensure that Prater Hauptallee, Donaupark, Wasserpark, Türkenschanzpark and Kurpark Oberlaa do not allow any visitors for the time being.
