Hurricane Milton roared through the Tampa Bay area on Wednesday night, October 10, ripping the roof off the multi-purpose multipurpose stadium Tropicana Field. The stadium is located in St. Petersburg, Florida and is the home of the American professional baseball team Tampa Bay Rays.
Pieces of the stadium roof were blown away by the strong winds.

According to WFTS-TV in Tampa, no injuries were reported at the stadium.
The same stadium was being used as a base for the first aid crews deployed to the area to deal with Milton.

Hurricane Milton cuts off drinking water
The city of St. Petersburg announced that it has cut off the supply of potable drinking water to the entire city since midnight. The decision was made after there was a break in the water supply network.
In fact, he instructed citizens to boil the water they use for drinking, cooking and brushing their teeth until further notice.
“Repairs to the water main will begin as soon as it is safe for crews to be outside,” the city wrote on Facebook. Similar problems have been observed in other states.
