Hurricane is not a rarity, Lamborghini has already sold 20,000 pieces

“When we unveiled it, we said that Lamborghini was writing another chapter in its great history with the hurricane,” says Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann. “Since its launch, Huracán has brought an evolution of design, technological know-how, driving adventures and more than just sales records.”

The largest market for the hurricane is the USA, where a third of all models produced ended, followed by the United Kingdom and China.

Only 29 percent of all buyers opted for the open version of Spyder, so the vast majority choose closed coupes instead. An impressive 60 percent of all cars have been tailored through Lamborghini Ad Personam.

The latest addition to the Huracán family is the recently unveiled version of Tecnica. The rear-wheel drive model strives to be the perfect circuit and road vehicle and shares its engine with the STO version, which means it can accelerate to 100 km / h in 3.2 seconds.

The hurricane is not yet ready to retire, Lamborghini plans to unveil another variant this year, which will probably focus on driving off paved roads.
