On November 14, 1948, a prince is born at Buckingham Palace in London. It is Charles, the first son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. His full name is: Charles Philip Arthur George Windsor. He is the first in line of succession to the throne. Two years later, Charles has a sister, Princess Anne (1950).
It was not until 1960 that the royal family was further expanded with the birth of Prince Andrew. Four years later, Prince Edward (1964) is born, Charles’ youngest brother.
In 1981 he married Lady Diana Spencer. Together they have two children, Princes William (1982) and Harry (1984). After a difficult and unhappy marriage, Charles and Diana decide to separate in 1996.
Nine years later, Prince Charles marries his great love Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Charles is now the proud grandfather of five grandchildren. Prince George (2013), Princess Charlotte (2015), Prince Louis (2018), Archie Mountbatten (2019 and Lilibet Mountbatten (2021).
