Cooperation contractor (KKKS), Sele Raya Belida discovered oil and gas reserves (oil and gas). The drilling results revealed an oil content of 1,983 BOPD and gas 1.3 MMSCFD with a pipe pressure of 150 psi.
The head of SKK representative Migas Sumbagsel, Anggono Mahendrawan, said there is a potential for additional drilling production to reach 2,000 BOPD of oil because the pipe pressure is still rising to 600 psi.
“We checked and the Sele Raya did Scope for 1 hour for test zone 1 of the SAS-1 and the conditions are very good, ”Anggono said in a written statement on Saturday (11/5/2022).
Currently, according to Anggono, the Sele Raya KKKS with the support of the SKK Migas Operations Division of the Sumbagsel Representative is conducting the MIT (Modified Isochronal Test) to find out Scope and development of the SAS-1 well. Next week until the end of November, SKK Migas and Sele Raya Belida will pre-drill or drill the concrete layer and should find even better reserves.

Meanwhile, the head of the well drilling and maintenance operations division, Surya Widyantoro, said the findings oil and gas through the SAS-1 well in Gelumbang, Muara Enim Regency, is a breath of fresh air for the upstream oil and gas industry to continue exploring massively, aggressively and efficiently.
“The discovery of oil and gas by the KKKS Sele Raya Belida is proof that this industry is very concerned about increasing national oil and gas production by conducting exploration,” Surya said.
Surya added, this discovery may be an encouragement for industrial workers oil and gas and other KKKS to continue exploring and exploiting oil and gas in order to reach the goal of 1 million barrels of oil and 12 billion cubic feet of gas by 2030.
“Congratulations to Sele Raya and hopefully other KKKS will be able to follow the example they are still exploring,” said Surya.
The drilling of the exploration well of Sungai Selatan Wine-1 (SAS-1) has been carried out since May 2022, the drilling site is in the border area between Melilian Village, Gelumbang District, and Tapus Village, Lembak District, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra.
