JAKARTA – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) increase the social protection budget by Rp55.21 trillion during the extension of the emergency PPKM.
In addition, in the extension of the Emergency PPKM until July 25, 2021, the government also provides incentives for informal micro-enterprises of IDR 1.2 million for around 1 million micro businesses.
“Informal micro businesses will be given an incentive of IDR 1.2 million,” said President Jokowi at a press conference, Tuesday (20/7/2021).

These informal micro-enterprises, such as street vendors to fried food vendors, have not received assistance during emergency PPKM.

As is known, Jokowi has also prepared an additional Rp. 55.2 trillion in the social protection budget, such as cash assistance to PKH social assistance.
