Hupperts P. et Fils Plans Expansion in Plenesses Industrial Zone, Andrimont

The planned extension is located in the Plenesses industrial zone, at number 36 rue Zénobe Gramme in 4821 Andrimont. The family business has been passed down for several generations now. Jean-Claude Hupperts, who until recently managed the company, left his place to his son after he retired.

Hupperts P. et Fils specializes in the recycling and processing of “basic textiles”.

“The objective is to develop the existing activity to double its capacity for transforming fabrics, polyester cables, filaments, felt into fibers by the garneting process (Editor’s note: technical textile processing process). The current capacity is 20t /day, after work, the targeted capacity is 40t/day”specifies the public inquiry.

The company also plans to expand due to its growing international activity, in particular thanks to its production of specific and technical products, which the latter does not wish to specify.

The company manager tells us that he does not wish to speak before the decision on the permit grant is confirmed. The public inquiry closes on January 22, 2024. Immersed in the development and creation of new projects, he still tells us that the idea has been in his head for some time.

Like all public inquiries, an information session is planned for January 22, the last day of the inquiry, from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Dison municipal administration.
