The national pub quiz championship was held in Pardubice, where 76 teams competed. In one of them, Mr. Lišák and Kalkulátor, two Hunters from the competition program On the Hunt, broadcast by TV Nova, also applied their knowledge.
In the program On the hunt for Václav Slabyhoudek, aka Lišák and Jakub Kvášovský, aka the Calculator, usually even four opponents at once are not enough. Both put their reputations on the line for the pub quiz championship. Each team, usually eight, is asked more than 220 questions. Thematic areas could not be more different. For example, knowledge of Renčín’s jokes.
It turned out that even the Hunters, who had great respect even among the contestants, do not know everything. “It’s not going well today,” lamented the Calculator. “Maybe a tasting at the beginning, so we had about three questions out of five,” added Mr. Lišák.
After the first quarter, the Hunters team was sixth out of 76. They were led by people who could easily sit in the Hunters’ chair themselves. “I mainly get it from the fact that I host a pub quiz three times a week. I remember a lot of it that way,” said contestant Patricia Fabryová.

“A lot of people have already been to our show. Some even took home a lot of money,” added the Calculator. It is precisely the organizers of the pub quiz that are closely associated with the program On the Hunt. They even recommended Mr. Lišák.
