There were several people who were witness to the shooting at Lørenskog Tuesday night. Several shots were fired at a car, but no one was injured.
A white car disappeared from the scene shortly after the shooting. Large resources were put into the search for the suspected shooter.
The emergency squad and helicopter were deployed in the search, but on Wednesday morning no one was arrested.
– No one has been arrested, but we have a named perpetrator we are looking for, says police inspector Ove Furseth to NRK. Furseth tells NTB that the man is charged with attempted murder.
The Eastern Police District is investigating the shooting. They have a clear appeal to the suspect:
– We want him to report to the police, says Furseth.
Furseth says the man they are looking for is an acquaintance of the police. They are now working to map the relationship between the shooter and the victim.
