Last week his girlfriend Nina Warink, with whom he formed a team, was handcuffed. Calvin then managed to escape in the nick of time. Also this week it was almost the end of the story for the participant, but due to a ‘brilliant action’ labeled by the viewers, he manages to flee again.
Calvin has gathered a whole team to help him get hold of extra information, which is hidden in a forest. He has sent three walkers ahead to lure any hunters away. He then cycles, dressed as a cyclist, to this place himself to retrieve the information.

His plan works: one of the walkers spots a hunter and immediately warns Calvin. The participant cycles to the location of the information at a fast pace, takes it with him and drives on to a car that is waiting for him. Once arrived in the car, the realization comes that the action has been successful. “I’ve got it! Nice man”, Kalvijn shouts. “He just walked past me. Holy shit”, he continues in disbelief.

Viewers are full of praise for the exciting moment. “The moment the fugitive and the hunter intersect… What an unbelievably brilliant move!” tweet someone. ‘That Calvin, what a hero that guy is!’ writes another. Some even call it ‘one of the most beautiful actions ever’.
