It will be one of the most important moments of Euro 2021, and for an innocent journalist doing her job on the sidelines, it will be a story to be told for years to come.
Defending world champions Hungary shocked France by scoring the first goal of their 1-1 Group F draw in Budapest when left winger Attila Viola fired an unexpected shot into the penalty area to score the first before the break.
The 60,000 sold-out spectators in Budapest have gone mad, and Fiola is clearly trapped in the emotions of the moment, celebrated in a totally unruly and unnecessary way.
Viola jumped over the field plates to get as close as possible to the frantic fans, but he collided with a journalist’s workstation and destroyed the journalist’s items sitting at the table.
I was surprised by the whole episode at first, but as the other Hungarian players flocked to Viola and the fans around her went crazy, she finally smiled a lot. Watch the moment here:
No one thinks of this poor woman. Right next to the stadium. Think about your own business. Then it innocently happened in one of the greatest modern moments in Hungarian sports history sport pic.twitter.com/XZVT4KpicC

This poor woman at the table. She can’t decide if she will be happy for them or if she is panicking because they hit her stuff https://t.co/mlr8dgCtGJ

The journalist risks becoming a celebrity overnight in Hungary, especially if the team ranked 37th in the world manages to break out of the group. His reaction definitely won on Twitter:
