The press secretary of the Hungarian Prime Minister Zoltan Kovacs today, May 3, called “fake news” the statement of the NSDC Secretary Alexei Danilov that Hungary was aware of the Russian attack on Ukraine. The relevant post was published Hungarian politician on Twitter.

According to him, the country’s government will not change its position regarding the supply of weapons to Ukraine to counter Russian aggression.

“In response to fake news: On April 3, the Hungarians decided that Hungary would not supply weapons to Ukraine. Although we understand that Ukraine does not welcome our decision, spreading fake news and inventing lies will not change our position,” wrote Kovacs.
