Hungary has begun vaccination against China’s novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) for the first time among EU member states on the 24th (local time), AFP news agency reported.

Prime Minister Orban Victor said on Facebook that “today we are starting to get a vaccine made in China.”

Hungary received 550,000 doses of sinopam vaccine on the 16th and is expected to import 5 million doses over the next four months.

Accordingly, the health authorities said this week that 275,000 people could be vaccinated with the Corona 19 vaccine from Chinese pharmaceutical company Sinoparm.

In addition to China-made, Hungary also introduced the’Sputnik V’Corona 19 vaccine developed by Russia.
