Llíria (from our newsletter) – From the Czech point of view, the first minutes were not bad, in the 8th minute Jumping Jeřábková compared with a nice lobby to 3: 3. But it is as if the Czechs think that ending in this way will still work. The subsequent three goals of the goalkeeper from Malá, Kordovská and Holanová ended over the crossbar and Hungary bounced back to 8: 4.
–
Opponents threatened mainly from clutches, Kudláčková did not know how to deal with the tough cannons Klujberová and Vámosová, who scored ten goals in the first half alone. The national team was helped by a power play, Kovářová used the free space twice in a row, who reduced the difference to one goal from the jumps and the active Jeřábková then leveled to 12:12.
–
However, Hungary quickly took a two-goal lead back and the Czech Republic did not have a numerical advantage of six to four. The handball players have always made a name for themselves, but they have not been able to defend the Hungarian team. At the half, the opponent led 17:15.
–
At the beginning of the second half, the Czech team was able to level up quickly, but began to buy technical mistakes. In the second duel, the national team had to do without pressure on the right clutch. Hurychová did not succeed, the alternating Kovářová lost the ball several times and Hungary tore itself into a key six-goal difference.
–
The opponents were already watching the end of the match and did not let the Czechs back in contact. Hungary won 32:29 and recorded their second tournament win. On the contrary, the national teams fell for the second time and will have to at least draw with Slovakia on Monday to advance to the main part of the tournament.
