Hungarian World of Warcraft Fan Sets Guinness World Record with 59-Hour Gaming Marathon

A dedicated World of Warcraft fan had a very long gaming session. At a certain point, tangible problems arose

A World of Warcraft fan recently set an impressive record for the longest gaming session. Barnabas Vujity-Zsolnay from Hungary spent more than two days in the legendary Blizzard game.

Record gaming session in World of Warcraft lasted 59 hours 20 minutes (almost 2.5 days). With this achievement, the player managed to get into the Guinness Book of Records.

The record was not easy for a World of Warcraft fan: the fact is that after about 45 hours he encountered hallucinations, and it became difficult to concentrate. Nevertheless, he did not give up, but continued to play and broadcast live.

During this marathon, the World of Warcraft player did not consume caffeine, but drank plain water. He estimates that he drank about 15 liters during the entire period. Barnabas already had some experience with long runs: he has been playing WoW for over 10 years and as a teenager he often played for up to 10 hours on weekdays, and up to 16 hours on weekends.

Barnabas warned the World of Warcraft community: he is ready to break the record if someone suddenly decides to set a new one.
