Hungarian Tennis Player Dominates ATP Indian Wells as Alex Molčan Retires Mid-Game Due to Inadequacy

Slovak tennis player Alex Molčan ended his career at the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in California’s Indian Wells in the 3rd round of singles. Hungarian Márton Fucsovics was beyond his strength, who won 6:4, 6:2.

Molčan earned 45 points in the ATP rankings and according to stz.sk, he should move up eight places. He currently ranks 55th in the online ranking.

For the first time in his career, the highest-ranked Carlos Alcaraz defeated the Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor 7:6 (4), 6:3 in the second matchup. Seventh-seeded Dane Holger Rune was eliminated, the 19-year-old was eliminated by 37-year-old Swiss veteran Stan Wawrinka 6:2, 6:7 (5), 7:5.
