A huge storm of indignation on social networks has been caused by the actions of the Hungarian airline “Wizz Air”, expelling from the plane a veteran of the Ukrainian war who had difficulty sitting down due to a prosthesis.

“Wizz Air” forcibly disembarked a Ukrainian war veteran with an amputated leg from the plane scheduled for a flight to Warsaw at the Tel Aviv airport, reports Nexta.

The man could not sit in his seat because he had a prosthetic leg. He said that he lost his leg in the war. The soldier was on his way to his family.
He cried and shouted, “How will I get home?” The soldier even showed the flight attendant a backpack containing gifts for his family, witnesses to the incident said.
While waiting, he stood in the corner of the plane for an hour and a half until he fell and injured his hands. The flight crew stated that “he behaved inappropriately and was forced to leave the flight”.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has also been informed of the incident, which asks the soldier expelled from the plane to contact it: “We are very concerned about the information about the situation at the Tel Aviv airport, and we want to clarify its nature.”
“As we have not received official submissions, we ask the Ukrainian veteran who was denied a flight to Warsaw to contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel. If the violation is confirmed, we will do everything possible to restore the rights of the Ukrainian citizen. Protection of the rights of Ukrainian citizens abroad is an unconditional priority,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine announced.
