– The general assembly of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences starts on Monday. The opening lecture will be given by Didier Queloz, the discoverer of the first exoplanet outside the Solar System, the Swiss astronomer who received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2019. Interview by Klára Stark

– The space probe Juice, which launched on April 14 and will arrive at Jupiter in 8 years, is a mission of the European Space Agency. Astronomers from the Konkoly Thege Astronomical Research Institute participate in the program, which aims to determine the location of Juice in certain periods with the help of quasars. – Astronomer Sándor Frey
