Actor Antti Luusuaniemi is guested by Aki Linnanahde talk show‘s new episode.

Luusuaniemi recalls the beginning of the 2010s, when film director Aku Louhimies wanted an actress Vuosaari-film for the role of a volunteer.

Lusuaniemi started training for the role. Freestyle wrestling became a hobby for him, and Luusuaniemi trained in the sport for many years.

– I trained myself to be a freestyle athlete and that movie was filmed. Our episode was definitely the most expensive of that movie, it had cage fighting scenes and everything possible, Luusuaniemi recalls.

Then Luusuaniemi received a surprising phone call from Louhimie. This told that Luusuanniemi has been cut out of the entire film.

– I laughed, it was a good joke, Luusuaniemi said that he took it as a joke.

According to Louhimie, the scene did not work as a whole. The idea was that you could shoot your own movie based on the scenes. However, the project remained.

– That material is still in the back of my head so that it would be nice to use it, Luusuanniemi recalls.

Luusuanniemi estimates that the price of the share could have been up to 150,000 or 200,000 euros.

However, Luusuanniemi is not bitter about it, but understands that Louhimies acted according to his own vision.

Vuosaari was published in 2012.
