Nearly 400 residents of towns in western Sardinia were evacuated last night due to severe forest fires. People from Cuglieri and the nearby village of Sennariolo, among others, had to leave their homes.
Some of them were allowed to return this morning, although the fires on the Italian island are not yet under control. According to the Italian news agency Ansa, the fire has moved to the coast.
