If the contact is tight, it is tested again and people eventually go into isolation, “said Jarmila Rážová.

At the same time, however, it called for responsibility – residents of the affected areas must wear drapes in closed public spaces and public transport in July, and according to the recommendations, they should also use them when traveling outside the region.

Further tests
According to Petr Kopřivík from the Regional Hygiene Station (KHS) in Ostrava, however, other samples of mine workers will still be evaluated.

OKD does not yet want to reveal how it will react to the situation.

Trade unionists objected to the claim that the miners themselves were to blame. According to them, it is not possible to observe hygienic measures when working in mines. The trade unionists stated that they drew the attention of the company’s management and the regional hygienic station to this fact and demanded that the work be limited to a safety minimum.
