The doctor has been residing in Fleurus for several years and welcomes patients who require ophthalmological visits or treatment. His office is very busy, thanks in particular to his ability to receive patients quickly. However, the site is currently the subject of a judicial investigation by the Charleroi Public Prosecutor’s Office, following “a series of complaints”.
These are addressed directly to him: at the end of 2021 he brought a doctor, a Greek citizen, to work in the cabinet. Dr. DT is actually a graduate in Greece, he has an Inami number there, he has already practiced in France with an Inami number in good and due shape. No problem so far. On Belgian soil, however, he does not have the right to exercise: a long administrative process must be completed to obtain recognition of a diploma, a visa for authorization to exercise, an Inami number valid in Belgium and registration with the Register of the Belgian Order of Doctors. This approach was launched, yes, but it was not successful.
