Hundreds aftershocks has happened following earthquake with a Magnitude (M) of 7.1 shaking Filipina north on Wednesday (27/7) yesterday. Anxious residents were forced to sleep outside the house.
Reported from the news agency AFPThursday (28/7/202), the authorities said five people were killed and more than 150 injured when the powerful earthquake rocked Abra province on Wednesday morning local time.
The powerful quake rocked a mountainous region, toppling buildings, triggering landslides and shaking tall towers hundreds of kilometers away in Manila, the capital. Filipina.

“Aftershocks happened almost every 20 minutes, 15 minutes since yesterday,” said Reggi Tolentino, a restaurant owner in the provincial capital of Abra, Bangued.
“Many slept outside last night, almost every family,” he added.
Hundreds of buildings were damaged or destroyed, roads were blocked by landslides and power was cut in the affected provinces.
But in Abra, which felt the full force of the quake, overall damage was “very minimal”, police chief Colonel Maly Cula told AFP.
“We don’t have a lot of people in the refugee camps even though a lot of people are living on the streets because of the aftershocks,” Cula said.
“Abra is back to normal,” he added.
The local seismological agency said that more than 800 aftershocks had been recorded since the quake struck, including 24 strong enough to be felt.
