Photos Hundreds of participants at a peaceful pro-Palestine demonstration in Düsseldorf
People marched through the city with numerous Palestine flags. Banners bore slogans such as “Human rights belong to all people… Save Gaza.”
Significantly more people came to the demo than were registered by the organizer.
Only 50 registered, but around 700 came, a police spokeswoman said.
The police described the atmosphere as emotional, but there were no incidents.
