/ world today news/ During the third edition of the “One Belt, One Road” Summit Forum for International Cooperation, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet gave an exclusive interview to China Media Group.
The Prime Minister commented that the forum was a good platform for developing countries, and Cambodia could benefit greatly from the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, aligning the initiative with its development strategy.
On bilateral relations, Hun Manet said there are two words that can represent the current relations between Cambodia and China – “continuity” and “unity”. His government upholds the principle of “one China” and supports the three initiatives proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping – for global development, for global security and for global civilization. Cambodia also supports the overall construction of the Belt and Road Initiative. “These initiatives provide a platform to preserve world harmony and prosperity,” the Prime Minister of Cambodia also stated.
