This is the story of a local comedian. A real one, one who left for Paris to rub shoulders with the capital’s demanding comedy clubs, but who returned, convinced that he could contribute to the comedy scene of the Pink City. This is the adventure of Nathan Chabrot, a quarter of a century old, who will present his very first show, “Bouquet final“, in the small room of the Comédie de Toulousebefore leaving on tour.
This native of Lot-et-Garonne had interrupted his STAPS studies to follow his friend Tom Baldetti (comedian with 300,000 subscribers) in Ile-de-France, during 2019. After three years of living on fees and hats after leaving the theaters, he returned to scour the Toulouse comedy clubs to try out the humor of the South. Since then, he has been found as a host every Sunday at Capitole Comedy Club du Roofat Florida, and on other sets such as Mamagayo, Blague Busters and La Fabrique du Rire. “I built my show with the Toulouse public, by seeing what makes them laugh, or not,” summarizes the comedian.
The premiere of a first show
On the menu, a pure moment of stand-up in its purest form, namely lots of true stories, life reflections and spontaneous exchanges with the public. “It is often said that a comedian puts his whole life into the first show. That’s a bit the case for me. I’m talking about the 25-year mark, this moment when we build ourselves personally, about male-female relationships, about desires of fatherhood and the values to transmit. It’s a very sincere, intimate, light and self-deprecating show, like a discussion with a friend.
