According to him, the absence of the Bulgarian representative at today’s meeting in Budapest, where the foreign ministers of our neighboring countries are discussing the Turkish Stream gas pipeline project, will convince our neighbors to start an energy policy without considering Bulgaria. “What will follow, is that we will pay much more expensively for the same Russian gas, with much more serious damage to our economy. Not only will we depend on Russian gas from Turkey, but we will be isolated and rejected by all our neighbors as an unnecessary country.” , Vassilev noted.
