Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
Conor McGregor spending time healing broken leg injuries mocking Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier but then he erased his teasing.
McGregor attacked Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier via his Twitter account. But the verbal attack was later removed by McGregor not long after.
Although it has been deleted, McGregor’s mockery has already been widely spread and perpetuated by many people.
Related to Khabib, McGregor mocked the death of Khabib’s father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.
“Covid is good and dad is evil?” McGregor wrote without referring details to Khabib.
However, this is believed to be in response to Khabib’s satisfied comments after Poirier beat McGregor in the UFC 265 match this month.
“Good always beats evil. I’m so happy for Dustin Poirier. Hopefully he can win the championship belt later this year,” Khabib wrote via Twitter at the time.
Not only Khabib, McGregor also mocked Poirier. According to McGregor, stopping the fight by a doctor is not a TKO victory.
In addition, McGregor also did not accept that his broken leg was due to Poirier’s kick.
It did not stop there, McGregor also uploaded a reply and asked Poirier’s wife, Jolie not to send him messages anymore. Even though the account that McGregor called was a fake account of Poirier’s wife.
As with the teasing about Khabib, the taunt on Poirier and his wife was removed by McGregor later.
McGregor’s broken leg at UFC 265 means he is expected to be out for a year. Even though he is injured and has a bad trend of losing in a row, McGregor himself is never empty of challenges.
Michael Chandler to Jake Paul were the names that challenged McGregor when he was breaking his leg.
