Humble, Marc Marquez refuses to be called Valentino Rossi’s toughest opponent in MotoGP: Okezone Sports

CERVERA Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) is often called the toughest opponent Valentino Rossi (Petronas Yamaha SRT) in MotoGP. However, he refused to be called so.

The Spaniard revealed that Valentino Rossi had tough opponents too in the past. Therefore, he feels that he is not Rossi’s biggest rival.

As is known, The Doctor – Rossi’s nickname – will retire from MotoGP at the end of the 2021 season. His final race will be presented in the 2021 Valencia series, Sunday 14 November 2021.

Throughout his career, Rossi has won nine world titles. With details of one title in the 125cc and 250cc classes, seven titles in MotoGP.

“Valentino has many more difficult opponents than me. He fought Biaggi, Gibernau, Lorenzo. What Valentino has done for MotoGP history is very good,” said Marquez, quoted from Motosan, Tuesday (2/11/2021).
