Brandon Stanton, the photographer behind the blog, never goes out without his camera. “I still remember the moment when the bus drove out of the Lincoln Tunnels and I saw the city for the first time,”
explains the 30-year-old in the editorial of his new book “Humans of New York”. “The buildings were impressive, but most of all I noticed the people.”
Brandon has photographed over 6,000 New Yorkers for his blog since 2010 and gives enthusiastic followers around the world an insight into the stories of New Yorkers.
