Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia actively prepares for the 14th National Winter Games

Entering the main venue, the Inner Mongolia Ice Sports Training Center, the venue upgrade and renovation work has been completed: the competition lighting has been upgraded to LED lighting, the air-conditioning and fresh air system has been fully repaired and maintained, and the ice rink boundary wall, weak current system and other equipment have been fully updated. Around the venue, a greening improvement project was implemented, and local plants that were resistant to cold, drought, and barrenness were selected to create urban roads with grassland characteristics. State Grid Hulunbuir Power Supply Company continues to increase the introduction of wind power to achieve 100% clean energy supply for the “14th Winter” venues. During the competition, the venue will use 3.4 million kilowatt-hours of “green electricity”, which can reduce the burning of standard coal by 1,133 tons and the emission of carbon dioxide by 2,946 tons.
In recent years, Hulunbuir City has strengthened the construction of ecological civilization, coordinated the management of mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes, grass and sand systems, persistently promoted the recuperation of grasslands, forests, rivers, lakes and wetlands, and coordinated and promoted major tasks and key projects such as the “Three North” project.
