The former Wild Wings striker is by no means the only departure from the cooperation partner.
At the EHC Freiburg, the signs point to a change in personnel. Andreé Hult, Evan Mosey, Enrico Salvarani, Peter Spornberger, Chad Bassen, Maxim Rausch and Marat Khaidarov will no longer work for the club that narrowly missed the DLE2 final and introduced Robert Hoffmann as the new head coach on Saturday .
Spornberger to the Wild Wings?
The 22-year-old Spornberger, who will probably move to the Schwenninger Wild Wings in the DEL, but will initially contest the A World Cup in Riga for Italy, has played an important role in the first pair of defenders for the past two years. The also 22-year-old goalkeeper Salvarani impressed with strong performances in the play-offs.
68 scorer points
Hult, who chased the puck at the Wild Wings from 2015 to 2019, came to Breisgau from his home country Sweden at the beginning of this season and was quick to convince. With 68 points scorer (24 goals, 44 assists) he was the most dangerous player in the Wölfe squad. Hult will join EV Landshut and signed a two-year contract with Niederbayern. At EV Landshut he meets old friends, plays with the ex-Schwenningen goalkeeper Dimitri Pätzold and the defenders Benedikt Brückner and Dominik Bohac.
Joy with the trainer
“I’ve followed Andreé’s path since his time in the Swedish league and also in Schwenningen and Freiburg and I know about his qualities. With him we get a very experienced center forward who controls the target very well, has a good eye for his teammates and always has a good balance in his game. And of course he is a strong scorer who will certainly help us with his points. I’m really happy that Andreé is now playing for us, ”said EVL head coach Leif Carlsson about his compatriot’s commitment.
The person thus promised now wants to try to meet the expectations placed on him in his new employer.
